Steve McKenzie
MANAGING PARTNER
Steve McKenzie has worked in real estate acquisitions, asset management, investment banking, and advisory capacities for more than 30 years. Prior to the formation of Channel West Group in 2009, he was a Managing Director with EastdilSecured where he was one of the firm's most senior professionals devoted to its West Coast operations, with significant focus on the lodging and multifamily sectors and the Hawaiian real estate markets. During his fourteen-year tenure at EastdilSecured, Steve performed advisory and transactional assignments which exceed $10 billion in valuation. Prior to joining EastdilSecured, Steve's experience includes tenures at MetLife Real Estate Investments and VMS Realty Partners. During his career, he has been responsible for acquisitions of all asset types and asset management of office, hotel, retail, residential and mixed-use projects, as well as dispositions and joint venture structuring/restructuring activities. Steve received a B.A. in Economics from Wheaton College, is a licensed real estate broker, and holds series 7 and series 63 securities license.
